Enjoying superb unspoiled views of the Ombrone valley, this ancient, fortified and listed castle sits high on a hill overlooking the river and valley below and the hills of Montalcino, Siena and Grosseto all around. In the 13th century the estate was home to the Ardengeschi family and the original atmosphere has remained to this day.

 The property is currently composed of  two main buildings making up the castle and a further building needing restoration. There is of course a watchtower which offers staggering 360 degree views.

The land of ca. 400 Ha includes mostly woodland, ca. 4.8 Ha of vineyard and 2.2 Ha of Montecucco vineyard.
